Very ancient Hebraic writings (largely untranslatable) are found all about the lands of the Israel tribes, and are even still written in today. Yet islamic tradition suggests that pagan Jews (huh???) lived in a great city for 4000 years and left no evidence of a synagogue, of engraving anywhere for thousands of miles about the place.
