I agree with you there mate, the war for the Middle East is far from over. There's going to be a major confrontation at some point, just a matter of when.
The US has already bombed SAA & allies from getting to close to their base near Al-Tanf... bombing an army for approaching their base, illegally constructed in a foreign country. They won't let their moderate head-choppers be defeated.
Then you have the question of the Kurdish intentions post-war and also that little problem with Idlib.
