Drew
Thankyou for taking the time to relay your conversation with Alex, sounds like you had a lengthy and productive chat. Appreciate you passing on some of the questions put forward by myself and others from HC
The massive tailings and ore dumps sound very promising, the ore removed from nobles was incredibly rich and one can only assume that processing of ore in those times was not anywhere near as efficient as modern techniques, leaving yet another 'legacy' asset for EXM to exploit. Peko is currently treating tailings in Tennant Creek so one can assume that regulatory approval for the process will not be difficult to obtain. Perhaps a vat leach or heap leach operation will be a low cost option for 1st production ? Will depend on drilling and metalurgy (i suspect the metalurgy will be a given)
Not suprised to hear that the response to Juno j/v has been 'overwhelming' as this is a very exciting deposit. I am equally pleased to hear that EXM not jumping at the 1st offer laid before it and am happy to see them conduct the tender process thoroughly in order to select the most suitable partner. The $7m figure for BFS i assume includes the $$$ necessary to drill Juno to reserve status as indicated in the announcement.
Judging by your comments Alex displayed an awareness of the need for EXM to proceed with caution and diligence at this critical stage of the companies development in order to ensure its long term success.
Exciting times ahead
