the other option is to buy one of these LIC's but make sure you also buy (l reckon 10-20%) a growth non income etf...
l am thinking IVV - (hopeless dividend) US market index? that way you are invested in growth and income so there will be something if you want to leave for the kids?
all just my personal view and ideas. I have been tossing up buying a US market index to ensure capital over the long term is protected from my stupidity
