This article is most likely from a speech that Zubaidi made in closing the 3 day National Assembly for the "Southern Transitional". It simply calls for confronting "attempts to foil" the Riyadh agreement. The previous post is highlighting the difficulty in getting the Hadi government to play straight and confront the Houthi's with the fullest force possible. So talk of Hadi been the Governor of Aden when he proposed to be the new President of the Riyadh Agreed Government sounds insincere.

He added, "This could lead to the stalling of the Riyadh agreement, and the humanitarian aspect is very important to us," noting that the south faces great challenges.

Al-Zubaidi continued: “There is an acute shortage of food stocks, and the stores are empty in the south and there is no reserve for ten days. In addition, the people of the south suffer from delayed salaries.”

Al-Zubaidi explained: “The Riyadh agreement is an important political step for us. We obtained regional and international recognition of the transitional council, and we will of course exercise our duties with all comfort under the umbrella of the Riyadh agreement, and under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a sponsor of this agreement.

He added: “We do not aspire during this stage of independence. Rather, it is a partnership that guarantees southerners their right to participate in the United Nations-sponsored delegation of negotiations, ”referring to the Yemeni peace talks.

The southern official continued his speech by saying: "We aspire to restore our state and the right to self-determination in all democratic ways guaranteed to us."
