Heres a good story RP and the rest of the Carr faithful. Frank was at the next petrol pump in South Perth (yes I'm a West Aussie)so I thought I would sus things out between the pipes!.
He is a really personable fellow and quite happy to talk - not that you can say much in a petrol station. He recognised me as one of the few that attend the CRK meetings locally here.
Anyway the gist of our chat was that this madness with the POG and gold juniors is certainly unexpected but not of any great concern in the big picture. He was keen to tell me that there is plenty of money in the bank and that selling at current prices is something that he (and anyone with half a brain) would not be doing. CNK has the goods with its nickel grades too and the message again was that this is definately a time to hold.
Frank comes across as a really nice guy - 75% of investing in this part of the market is the management and I have always felt we are in good hands. If you were in on the float and travelled the distance with Shannon, then Condor it has been a great journey. Long way to go yet!
Just read this bit on Kitco - thought I would paste it in.
Oversold? Sure. Is the bottom in place? Not so sure. Will stormy sessions continue to unnerve? Absolutely sure. Liquidate core holdings out of fear? Not on your life. Holding on to 'life insurance' for your asset basket? Priceless.
Happy Trading.
