I can confirm that the Total Amount as shown on the statement is paid into my account. Which is the full 4.5c/share+note
The portion of that payment which is deemed repayment of the stapled loan principal is treated differently to a normal dividend in your tax return.
There are details of this on the DBI website - I'm not a tax accountant so I'm not the best person to explain it

Looking back through my distribution statements, it appears that this most recent distribution is the first that includes a loan principal repayment component.
Certainly not straightforward but all above board.
Debt/gearing is high, but DBI has strong and stable cashflow so I have no problem with the balance sheet.
