To break out or the current range and head to $10 needs a catalyst or a number of them. Potentially, there are quite a few coming through over the next few months - earnings outperformance, EU approval, commercialisation of projects in pipeline, better than expected trial performance particularly brain to name a few.
Pull off 2-3 of these (highly likely IMO) and you have the potential for a strong upwards re-rate; miss and risk the SP being punished.
In the interim sellers can trade off uncertainty and fear and push the SP down from time to time.
Personally I'm expecting a very good quarterly income report. Until then I can't see a strong reason for it to push past current resistance.
