Yes, I see were your coming from, but, equilibrium's can be upset, and reactions including dissolution reactions are then pushed in a forward or a backward direction.
If scaling (precipitation by crystalisation etc )and or sorbtion occurs in the loop1 circuit then, that would alter the equilibrium, (in the forward direction my guess, pulling more solutes from the rock matrix.)
Am I wrong?
