Opaline is right about the generating capacity of the Cooper Basin area. In Geodynamics own words,
"EGS resources in the Cooper Eromanga Basin alone are sufficient to displace Australia’s entire current coal fired generation (~30,000 MWe capacity) for more than 250 years." However, they say this build up as possible by 2050. [Actually, 30 000 MW = 600 x 50 MW modules]
