I think that only the people who sold perhaps expected the core to be hit with CC7. The message was there in black and white in the relevant announcements that it was close, but no cigar.
I also think that getting a report showing no mineralisation for the bottom 225ms after waiting for any report on the hole for over 4 months has added fuel to the sell sentiment.
Now we find out, too, that CCDD007 was designed to test the downdip extension of mineralisatition encountered in CCDD003 and probe for deeper mineralisation north of the historical copper zone exposed on surface. I cannot recall seeing that sort of statement before.
Anyway, no such deeper mineralisation was found.
