    Worldwide steel demand will recover to 2008 levels next year, led by "exceptionally strong growth" in China, said World Steel Assn (Worldsteel) in its annual forecast. Apparent steel consumption will rise 9.2% to 1.21 billion tonnes from an expected 1.104 billion tonnes this year, down 8.6% from 2008. "The global recovery is stronger than we predicted in April.
