    Take care use only very fine steel wool and use lots of soap or similar to lubricate the scrubbing

    Glass used now in shower screens and windscreens is much softer then it was previously and can be easily scratched with repeated cleaning by using any abrasive methods

    You are far better to use methods to dissolve the Gunk on the glass
