Does look like LBO stage 2 doesn't it. Is the SMH article saying Stella was loaded up with a $1bn of debt in 4 months. "$905 million debt that CVC inherited from MFS" then "Stella, which in its June 30 accounts has total liabilities of $1.9 billion"
My point about PIF was that these figures suggest CVC may have saddled Stella with debts just like MFS/OCV saddled PIF with debts to serve interests that weren't the interests of unit holders.
BTW: Deloitte's did look into Stella. See 11.3 in their reports on OCV Ltd and OCV Admin:
"As previously mentioned Stella has provided Deloitte Corporate Finance (DCF) with access to records, under a strict confidentiality deed, to assess the likely value of the remaining 35%. DCF has formed the view that the 35% holding in Stella currently has a nil value on a high and low basis."
So how was the 22.5c offer by OCV to creditors going to be financed? Anyone?
