Yep ... noone will have any idea how to value MFS until part of Stella is sold - assuming it eventuates. That is the only thing that will provide clarity here, and presumably get the debt off MFS back so the market is more comfortable with the gearing.
The question from there, however, is has the current turmoil impacted MFS ability to funds (ie. listed and unlisted managed funds) which will in turn impact a reasonable portion of growth moving forward. I'd suggest that this has been impacted, but the degree of this - big or small - will only be seen over the next 18 months or so.
