Apologies@Valueformoney, I did not see your post. Pat of my running research on stocks, so no effort to drop it in here. Vericel are launching MACI in ankles as well as knees. MACI mkt penetration by Vericel, still in its early stages, obviously a good indication on OCC's own ACI potential growth, and far more easily adminstered ATI:

Maci is some 80% of revenue now (after their burns business).

For those unaware OCC CMO and CEO sold 'some' rights on ACI to Vericel for $55M, which developed it in the US with a collagen membrane for application not dissimilar to CelGro (Striate/Remplir). MACI has been driving the business size growth since its introduction:

INterestingly they are moving into ankles as well as described above. I only shake my head as usual, that ACI and ATI, having been applied to some lucky Aussies via the Special Access Scheme, is still not generally known and available in Australia to the sporting fraternity, let alone general public. ATI is so easily prescribed for partial and in particular intersubstance tendon tears, as you can see by the official surgical procedure - biopsy, cell culturing, and injection:

    https://orthocell.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Ortho-ATI-Surgical-Technique.pdf

I know I repeat myself, but ATI should be providing relief to hundreds of thousands of Aussies, let alone the millions of potential US ambulatory patients it could be applied to with FDA approval:

"Every year, there are more than 32 million acute and chronic tendon and ligament injuries that occur in the United States. Due to the limited healing ability of tendons, many of these injuries require the use of a graft for recovery."

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/ligament-and-tendon-injury#:~:text=Tendon%20Tissue%20Engineering&text=Every%20year%2C%20there%20are%20more,of%20a%20graft%20for%20recovery.

I genuinely scretch my head in disbelief at how crap information dispersal and lethargic take up of innovative procedures are by elite sportstars, let alone normal patients:

"The aim of this study was to report the prevalence of Achilles and patellar tendon problems in elite male Australian football players using the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Centre (OSTRC) overuse questionnaire, compared to a time‐loss definition. Methods Male athletes from 12 professional Australian football teams were invited to complete a monthly questionnaire over a 9‐month period in the 2016 pre‐ and competitive season. The OSTRC overuse injury questionnaire was used to measure the prevalence and severity of Achilles and patellar tendon symptoms, and was compared to traditional match‐loss statistics. Results A total of 441 participants were included. Of all participants, 21.5% (95%CI: 17.9‐25.6) and 25.2% (95%CI 21.3‐29.4) reported Achilles or patellar tendon problems during the season, respectively."

How many AFL players need to report success with it, for it to be taken up? Perhaps I just have a very different mindset, but stem cells saved me from a lame arm, when my only alternative was a second risky allo-graft surgery on a poorly repaired bicep, which one Orthopod (not the one prescribing his expensive second surgery of course) told me was distinctly risky for nerve damage given complications from the proximity of the interosseous nerve.
