There is a whole lot of research going on using stem cells to repair the heart.
This UK study is just one of them. Neostem (Nasdaq: NBS) has completed enrolment in a Phase II study so I expect it would be much further advanced than the UK group. Here is a link to a Neostem press release which is quite interesting, especially about their share price.

I would say stem cell therapy has much further to go than C-Pulse. And its efficacy has not been demonstrated in the way C-Pulse has.
