zinc - stena tay early arrival You know it's funny that you mentioned mixing up the knots and km/h Zinc!.....because that's exactly what I did....doh....
So let's try this again - 7 knots is 13 km/h. 690 miles is 1110 km. So that's 4 days transit. That puts the Stena Tay in Mauritania on Saturday morning and has Sotto spudded for an update easily on Monday and definitely in the Tues update.
Just for comparison purposes - a towed semi-sub generally sits on 4.5 knots (8 km/h), a self propelled semi-sub 7.5 knots (14 km/h) and a self propelled drill ship 10 knots (18.5 km/h).
Bring on Monday!....nothing like seeing it writing.
Cheers,
Butcherano.
