Another significant benefit of meeting with the CEO's or MD's of companies is that it allows you to assess their credibility, which is an extremely important factor if you plan to invest substantial sums of money. I often meet with or talk to the leaders of companies I have big investments in (I prefer face to face meeting) and it has been worth the effort. On several occasions it has resulted in me exiting a position with substantial profits instead of losses or a total wipe out.
