DBT9 - it is a hard truth to face that none of us is capable of true objectivity.

Scientists come closest, at least in their approach and methods, which methods are regularly thrown over every 50 years or so in the light of new insights etc.

So: I never argue with people who truly believe - they have a need that is really great, mine is obviously not as great as theirs, but who am I to destroy what is obviously part of a firm structure to their lives? Mostly it leads them to have good lives, with generosity to others, kindness etc. - they are good and kind fellow humans, mostly, something we need more of.
