Having said that, why would Conroy offer Telstra 49% of the new NBN company if he had any confidence in others being able to build the new network??
In my opinion, Telstra still has a very strong negotiating position in the final outcome of any new network.. Be it the Governments FTTP or upgrading of it's own networks..
Legal action, by Telstra and T1,T2 & T3 holders, against the Government still looms very large..
But, I do hope that all ths is sorted out very quickly, enabling everyone to get on with the job on hand..
