Point taken, but it still gives us an insight into the image of this non-existent god that the majority of atheists reject.
It is a moot question and a predictable answer. Somebody truly comfortable with their atheist beliefs might choose to ignore that question completely. The absence of god occupies a great deal of the atheists thoughts.
The answer if one met god is - give me the wisdom to reduce suffering in the world - give scientists and doctors the wisdom to treat bone cancer in children so that we can look after ourselves and come up with a remedy for all disease.
That said I do accept your point of view in its context.
