Banks showing amazing resilience for a second time ignoring a near 2% drop in US financials to almost get back to even - overnight VIX +12.6%, BKX -1.9%, copper broke support but ANZ, CBA now green.
No doubt we are due for a period of outperformance but have to wonder whether we are underestimating the seriousness of the situation O/S. US currently looks like a mild correction after an epic rally, but Europe looks to be teetering on the brink of something much worse. Maybe not time to be shorting in earnest but can't think of any reason to be buying?
