In 2 hours from now, at 7.15 pm NYC time, The Ben Bernank gives his first public address (to a group of Uni students of something like that) since last Friday's employment report. No doubt every word will be examined and any hint of additional QE might send futures dramatically higher.
ASX won't be open then so the situation at 9:50 am when SPI kicks off might be somewhat different to what it is now.
