I think we need to go beyond the idea that there will be only one 'winner' chosen. Remember the last time the gov put all their eggs in one vaccine basked? Lots of Australians have died as a result. I'm no political spin-doctor but I believe they won't want to be seen as making that mistake twice.

As Greg Hunt said back in May: "Our hope is that we will have at least one, if not more than one, manufacturing operation in Australia."

I believe if we look past the confirmation bias built in to our opinions either that IDT will win a clean sweep or CSL or someone else will and IDT will get nothing, the evidence points at a multi-faceted approach, and given IDT's position with the sterile readiness agreement and their USP as the operation that could get things moving faster than any other, they're likely to win a share of the pie.
