You seem like you have concerns about the listing, is this just because of the failed attempt a few years back ?
As you said they look like they are on a good thing here, unsure why the asx wouldn't list them this time.
Preference shares usually track the underlying shares then strip out dividend, usually no voting rights attached to them.
