Today closed out the 50% remainder of BBOZ @ $16.35. Fortunately the total loss was a small percentage compared to recent long stock gains.
XJO could rally till the end of the year, hence am now concentrating 100% on trading long individual stocks. Will still monitor and chart the XJO as a barometer for my stock portfolio.
When the current bull market eventually ends, one of the first signs is individual stocks in the portfolio being stopped out. Once the 130-day EMA crosses below the 200-day EMA, that is more confirmation that the XJO is entering a stage 4 bear market. That will be the time to short. But for now we are in a stage 2 bull market, hence short-term shorting is difficult re getting the timing right.
