Maybe, but that demand is the cause of Australia putting out the 5th largest stimulus in the world by GDP. Hold on, aren't we sailing through this downturn? Hmmm, if so, why the need for such a large stimulus?
It is delaying the inevitable slowdown for mine, history has shown that downturns are part of economic cycles, once you start trying to completley eliminate them (as we appear to be doing), one could suggest you're on a very silppery slope.
