I agree he is not an expert.

He is a theorist of sorts though.

He is challenging a lot of the neo-classical theory that is fed to young people by the academic establishment.

And so he should. I wouldn't expect any less from someone employed by a Public University in Australia.
There is a good chance that his theorizing will no longer be a moot point in the decades to come.

Like him or dislike him he doesn't feed the public and the young minds in tertiary institutions the same falsehoods that is feed to people in places like Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Oxford or the LSE.
