Yet another article calling for nuclear energy use in Australia:

SPECULATION about the demise of the uranium industry has been fiercely challenged by the South Australian government, which yesterday suggested Australia should expand its relationship with uranium to include domestic enrichment of the resource.

SA Mineral Resources Minister Tom Koutsantonis's declaration that Australia "has got to change" its policy of only mining uranium for export comes after Japan's nuclear crisis dented confidence in the sector and last week wiped more than a billion dollars off the value of Australian uranium miners.
