There is a consensus within the ranks that Solamind have a choke hold (point of law) over OPES. It is going to be tested in the next few weeks or less and if it is so it will probably give rise to a more amicable albeit somewhat costly but clean solution. If this scuttlebutt is well founded then the WHOOSHKA may not be more than a couple of months (or less) away and hopefully the Board will be re-organized and populated with a few directors that have don't build and play with sandcastles (we all know what happens when the tide returns). If they concentrate on what they are brilliant at and stop playing pass the money parcel and stop trying to set up pathetically junior school methods of fending off imaginary takeovers then Solagran will zoom upwards. Borrow money by all means but you wouldn't have bought a used GT Falcon from the chief of Opes would you?
There is some convoluted thinking clouding reason within the management structure in this company.
Time for a couple of seriously experienced independent directors to be appointed to the board and someone from the board to exit stage left. Wonder who that would be.
This rant is my humble opinion only and therefore to be taken with just a pinch of salt and a chuckle although there may seem elements of good sense in it this only adds to its overall ramble and rant.
