So does that thinking put you outside of "price is what you pay and value is what you get"? Because investors can and will look to find ways to value their purchase - not in today's value but the future value --- and with that you can determine what the future price might be. All companies eventually (and that might be a long time) trade at a multiple for what the (estimated - so not precise) future earnings are worth.

Software companies are fantastic examples of this. In the 3 stocks listed which you suggest all trade at "massive overvalued prices" which would you own? Me - FB (even though I don't use it). Uber while a disruptor itself I think faces an uncertain future from other potential disruption in that space. Tesla surely cannot be a winner and strikes me hugely overvalued. Musk is a visionary (shown that many times) but the auto manufacturing business is still the business they are in. Even Elon Musk called Tesla overvalued (so I guess he should sell then??).

Even NickDany, after comparing potential of YOJ to Facebook, Amazon and Google came up with revenue estimate of $500M - $1.5B in 3 to 5 years and then a market cap of $500M - $750M.

    Isn't that "valuing" a company ... implied future price of $0.60 - $0.90 ???

Shoot I want to see YOJ way above that ... supposedly tracking to double revenue every Qtr (for how long - 1 year, 2 years?) and it should be possible given the potential for disruption in the logistics space. And with say ND's midpoint of Revenue of $750M of ARR in 4 years, then a multiple of 2x sales gives $1.5B and implies something closer to $2 .... much more inline and achieveable if the promise holds true!

The guts & mechanics of software companies aren't very interesting or understandable. Does one really need to know the internals of smart contracts to appreciate YOJ?

BTW many a set were lost in the tech-wreck of 2,000.
