sticky date pudding

What do you guys make of this.....

When it opened MRK went to 4c quite quickly right... where it stayed for most of the day. It traded ~15m shares. It has a market cap ~ 396m which means that assuming those 15m shares were 100% sold down (ie no market trading at all)...then Day 1....at least 96.2% of the founding shareholders of MRK did not sell down.

I find this very interesting given that the founding shareholders were set at 0.5c and 1c according to the prospectus. They could have made 4 to 8 times their money if they sold shares Day 1... but still didnt sell...
