Since today was the first day Canadians could unload stock in Chalice after Zara was given away to the Chinese, Stifel Nicholas was the big seller into every bid. Stifel Nicholas is one of the few institutions in North America who had been covering Chalice and are obviuosly disappointed just like everyone else. No one willing to wait until Nevsun comes in and takes out Chalice and throws out the management. Maybe Nevsun will wait until the stock hits $.20 and then make an offer for $.30 or a 50% premium. The lower the stock goes, the more attractive Chalice becomes to Nevsun and the more willing the institutions will sell out to Nevsun to get out of this fiasco.
And yes I do own shares.
