I disagree Dazza. Even though supply and demand come into play, there should not be a price disparity like this for such a long time. Market participants should have already come to realise that the options are heavily discounted and should have bought them up, creating price parity.
But that hasn't happened for 2 weeks.
I think it has more to do with waiting for positive results to be released. Options have more leverage (up and down) and i think ppl might be waiting for the news b4 pushing up the demand for options. If it was known that positive news was more than likely going to be released soon, surely the market would be buying the options due to their large discount, thus pushing up the price in line with the heads. But it's not happening yet.....hmmmm...
