I dont dispute there will be substantial R & D funds spent on alternatives and that we will at some time in the future see some real alternatives to U but to think any alternative source could be commercialised within the next 20 years is pure fantasy. Existing and planned reactors will also see out their current life and these alone require U that is simply not available at this point in time. Should say Thorium prove to be a real alternative you can bet that the current u companies will be on top of this and will hedge by becoming involved themselves.
BTW I bought Pdn today and I am very happy with my buy!
