still angry

I'm still very angry about what has happened so I've decided to make a complaint to ASIC. In particular, the reasons given for closing the program around perceived risk about US market exclusivity, and required dosage being too high are matters that must have been known to AVX prior to the SPP in December, and should have been disclosed.

ASIC will investgate but will only take action if the case fulfils certain criteria. One of these is the number of persons affected - ie if enough people make noise, ASIC acts. If you think you have been mislead, you should think about complaining too - you can do so online at asic.gov.au

If ASIC decide to prosecute a litigation funder will be more likely to take on a civil action.
