I wouldn't be in it if I didn't think the upside was worth the risk. Because of this stock I probably know more about African politics than I do about Australian.
When it was 5c all we had was some ground with some known copper. Now in the first year of production the company earned more than it was capitalised at back then. That took 5 years to achieve. Growth now should be significantly faster.
Now we have one mine with some significant cashflow. The second mine could be up within 12 months if the decision is to go to Kapulo.
On top of that AVM has hardly done any serious exploration in what is regarded as the best copper ground on the planet. So to answer your question 80c and above in 12 mths is very much where I expect it to be. If this company was in Aus it would be multiple $ by now.
The capital raising (if any) is a non issue, if there was one we'd be getting something for it and it would need to be significantly expensive for a raising to be required (AVM now has significant cashflow at it's disposal)... which in turn means a significant resource to mine. AVM does NOT need to raise any cash for the sake of raising cash.
True the political situation needs to hold relatively steady, I'm betting it will. But then I've taken my profits along the way.. AVM owes me nothing. Then again I recently bought more in the 30's so I'm still investing.
