    Linux SysAdmin / DevOPS - Cyprus RegTech

    Our office in Nicosia, Cyprus is seeking talented sysadmins or devops, with exposure to Linux, and preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) [or other cloud services], to assist with our growth. There are several roles available, and we encourage recent graduates as well as experienced devops to apply.

    Linux DEVOPS
    As a LinuxSysAdmin or DevOps Engineer located in our Nicosia office, you will be part of the team that supports and maintains the iSignthis platform. Our platform has been designed inhouse, and is based upon our own patented technology.

    Our cloud based technology is hosted at AWS, with our services required to be certified and maintained to the fintech PCI DSS standard and ISO27001 to EU DPA requirements.

    OurSysAdmins and DevOps are part of the Operations team that manages the global infrastructure, with travel between our Melbourne and Nicosia offices likely.

    We are seeking to automate everything possible, taking all things to the next level!

    Linux Devops Responsibilities:
    • Contribute to automation of server provisioning and software deployment
    • Manage and monitor the AWS environment.
    • Analyse, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
    • Research and documentation for new tools & systems
    • Contribute to solutions that aid in scalability and security
    • Assist with training non-technical personnel
    • Interact with customers in a professional capacity

    Requirements:
    Infrastructure as Code is the core of our operation. As an early stage company that implements an agile approach to development we use a wide variety of technologies in order to achieve our requirements. We are looking for someone who is Interested in learning new skills and keeping pace with changing technologies.

    A passion for Sysadmin or DevOps tools and culture, with some exposure in the areas below a plus:

    • Extensive Linux knowledge, across the multiple variants preferably.
    • Familiarity with AWS services
    • Exposure to Java, Python and/or Javascript.
    • Hands-on experience with Linux, Comet, Mongo.
    • Some experience with Databases (NoSQL a plus)
    • Knowledge of source code control management systems, and code branching/merging strategies; Git is preferred, or else Subversion (SVN)
    • Bash/Python/Ruby or similar scripting ability
    • Strong english communication skills, with a preference for at least one other EU28 language skill.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally

    Executive General Manager / Director Designate - Scheme Cards & eMoney

    iSignthis Ltd is an Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed company, soon to commence EU and Australian eMoney services, with our EU operations based out of Nicosia, Cyprus.

    We are looking for an executive general manager (EGM) who will drive our eMoney operations and associated P&L, with the support of our EU sales team, to take advantage of multinational scheme debit and credit card acquiring operations and opportunities.

    Our card services are complimented by our patented remote identity verification services, which provide a unique AML KYC compliant onboarding proposition for our direct emoney customers, our merchants and the end customers of our AML regulated merchants.

    We are seeking an EGM with EU bank, EMI or Payment Institution operational experience gained in emoney, card scheme acquiring and/or card issuing operations.
    Demonstrable working knowledge of EU eMoney Directives, 4AMLD, PSD1/2 and financial regulations together with experience in regulatory and card scheme engagement are core requirements.

    The succesful EGM candidate will have excellent english and preferable at least one other EU language skills, high-level communication skills, experience in dealing with card scheme and card related matters, together with skills in forging co-opetition partnerships.

    The Nicosia based EGM position reports to the Group CEO based in Australia, and is accountable to the iSignthis eMoney Ltd Board of Directors, to which the succesful candidate may be appointed.

    Governance
    • Advising the Board of Directors on issues of corporate governance and monitoring the Company’s compliance with the rules and regulations of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Card
    • Scheme, Payment Card Industry (PCI) and other applicable regulatory bodies.
    • Executing the Company’s business plan and developing strategy with the executive team.
    • Responsibility for Profit and Loss, business development, budget setting, revenue /cost budget monitoring & reporting, and executing the Company business plan
    • Maintaining Company practices, policies and procedures as they relate to i) risk and underwriting and ii) acquiring services and iii) card issuing and iv) electronic money operations, and day to day execution of the foregoing.
    • Ensuring that operations meet the Group company’s policies and procedures, including audit requirements, confidentiality, AML/CTF program, information security and data privacy policy.

    Day to Day Management
    • The day to day management of the Company in accordance with the budget and directions set by the Board of Directors.
    • Managing, monitoring and reporting against the Company budget and operating guidelines/procedures.
    • Preparation and recommendation of all commercial offers and proposals, joint ventures and business partnerships necessary for the operation of the Company
    • Day to day management and/or supervision of Staff employed by the Company and Group Companies located in Cyprus.
    • Responsibility for staffing including setting and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Cypriot based eMoney staff including risk, underwriting, customer support, operations,
    • Payment Service Provider (PSP) specific sales staff and other staff per the Company’s budget.
    • Monthly reports.

    Product
    • Conducting periodic reviews of product performance, including reassessment of financials and critical assumptions.
    • Ensuring that each product and deployment meets acceptable cost and margin targets.

    • Reviewing customer pricing to ensure consistency with overall product performance targets.
    • Develop, maintain and apply for the benefit of the Company technical subject matter expertise in risk, underwriting, acquiring, card issuing, e-money and payment processing.

    Necessary Experience Applicants must have at least 5 years demonstrable experience in online card acquiring operations including exposure to ecommerce merchant acquiring operations, merchant acquiring sales , and merchant onboarding gained in a credit/risk, business development or AMLCO role, whilst working for a EU licensed emoney institution, payment institution, or bank.

    Exposure to, and knowledge of card scheme rules, merchant onboarding, chargebacks and AML/CFT requirements is also required.

    Candidates should be able to display a minmum of 15 years overall experience with exposure to either banking, POS payments, eWallets, and/or electronic payments, including:
    • Dealing with Card Schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX and Diners.
    • Credit risk assessment of merchants, Credit bureau checks, onsite visits, bank reference checks.
    • Establishing and maintaining proper financial securities, bank guarantees, chargeback reserves
    • Oversight, screening and due diligence of new merchants
    • Transaction monitoring and website assessments
    • Monitoring of chargebacks and declines and cardholder disputes
    • Managing Compliance, Brand, Reputational and Regulatory risk
    • Analysis of Fraud Loss reports
