    oops sorry Locky - didnt realise you slipped an "en" into shorting - to make it "shortening"..... presume you were taking the piz - so just to make sure you know Im pizzed not dumb - shorting is short selling - shortening is fat used in pastery ......like butter or lard to make a dough smooth and kneadable and help it crisp while baking
