Another nice rise today, very keen to see what the H1 results look like in about 6 weeks time, the thing I liked about this company is that it has huge operational leverage on small increases in the under used fleet, On average last year each jet did 2 flights of just over an hour each at about 7k aud per hour, last year a 10pct increase in hours flown led to a 45 pct increase in profit. This year we have a 45pct increase in hours baked in with very small increase in the fixed cost base, what that does to profits will be very interesting!! Also worth bearing in mind that the jets are in the books at a value of about 5 mio each, to lease a 100 seat jet now is a minimum of 5 mio a year, so without a legacy fleet nobody can really compete, that is a very nice moat ! Anyway good luck all lets hope 2018 is as good for aqz as 2017 was !!
