Now post acquisition I've got a feeling we might see Isity release some news on a few more projects in the coming months. After all the acquisition is based on some pretty high KPI's over the short to medium term. And they've certainly got some pretty good partners to ensure this happens.
Tsing Capital for one who was China's first fund manager to "focus on growth-stage investment opportunities in the fields of energy and resources, environmental protection, new materials, and intelligent technologies." With Charles Hunting as a managing partner at Tsing and an entitlement to 20m performance shares valued at $1.6m (plus his share through Isity), that's enough of an incentive to ensure Isity meets their targets. And when they do, Hunting's share along with all of the other significant holders will be worth a motza IMHO.
EBIT of $30m by 2020 with a current MC under $8m??? Which part of this equation needs rebalancing - hopefully the MC!!
Paul Beddie at the EGM said "... if this Changchun project is the only reason you believe a vote for the Isity acquisition is reasonable, then you need to realize that Isity is developing a number of these large scale projects and some of these will reach financial closing and some will not......Myself, the Isity management team and the external shareholders of Isity are all extremely excited by the growth opportunity from combining of our 2 companies."
It will be interesting to see who some of these other "external shareholders" are.
Tsing Capital have been pretty active media-wise this month:
The more I look into Tsing and their projects (even their interests in Australia) the more similarities I see. Even with KKL's existing technologies. KKL has some strong backing with good contacts, globally.
Volume has been dry for some time now. Most holders left are here for the long haul. Buyers should step up once some solid income becomes evident.
