because that would require them to apply to ASIC and deal with the reputation hit.. they haven’t commented publicly, the only statement since the water logged hole was from NWE and it simply said MIN were still indicating..
for the couple of mill that MIN would save in scooping up the dregs it may not be worth the hassle, but it’s definitely possible and something MIN would at least be considering
