Under the ASX Listing Rules (Guidance Note 16), upon applying for voluntary suspension, the company must provide a date by which it thinks that the information enabling lifting of suspension will be available to be announced. If it then turns out that the information is still not able to be announced by that date, then the company has to provide an update announcement with an explanation of the reasons for the continued delay and a further date when things will be resolved by.
The last such update was on 7th December, with an explanatory announcement to be made within 15 days, ie. by tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd December. So, by tomorrow we should get either full and final details of the previously incomplete results and a lifting of suspension, or a further extension of suspension accompanied by a clear explanation of the reasons for this further delay and the timing to its resolution.
