You are assuming the company didn’t mail it rather than Australia Post not delivering it. The business I work in used to mail 1000s of clients all sorts of correspondence. Over the last few years Australia Post’s lack of reliability and timeliness forced us to move everything to email (a blessing in disguise in reality). Point is mail getting lost is regular nowadays - only a matter of time before Australia Post stop the service altogether.
