i think put options or cfds should be the only way to short, because they dont directly effect the underlying price of the share like short selling does.
larlie, i think silver sometimes has such a large short position open on the comex that it would take 3 or 4 years (dont quote me, i forget the actual numbers) of current global mine production to deliver the physical silver if they were all called to delivery by the longs. htf can that be allowed to happen?
our financial markets are being played to make money with no regards to the underlying object. it simply doesnt matter to these players if its gold, oil, OXR, BNB, ABS, u308..... i doesnt matter what the fundamentals are anymore.
