my point is this,

in the past 2 years holding this stock you would have made no capital gains. A long term holding outlook is stupid if the environment changes. Sure when the price of U was going up its ok to have a longterm outlook. As the environment changes so should your trading stratergy.

Stevens approach is the dumbest statement I have heard in a long time. Yes, it does come to stratergy which is why i posted on this thread about the stocks I had transferred into. I am now in a 40 percent net better position than if i continued holding this stock. That is a 40 percent difference in about a month. How long will it be before you recoup 40 percent?

It is better to take a lose than lose everything. I would rather pay an extra 10-20 percent to buy back in once the savanah issue is settled than continue to lose. And for those who think savannah isn't an issue you just keep telling yourselves that it isn't as the share price trickles away.
