long term eg BHP 5 yrs ago under $10 per share COUMPOUNDED at 30% to $50 share price approx. i think a lot of posters have had it easy in the last bull run and are not use to looking for fair value bargains.i love the im still up 500% on this one type comments(this one or across your portfolio) ,imagine if you clever fellows picked the top and sold . eg $0.80 todays approx price plus 450% is $4.40. so your down a bit but we wont mention that you dont sound as intelligent.so my point is long term could be 3 to 25 yrs useing money not borrowed invested into a well reserched portifilo buying bargains at times like these. 30% compounded over that time if your in your 30yrs age group would reward you very well. who knows you might pick the top along the way a few times.
