Political Parties Consider Campaign Running Smoothly

Luanda, - Representatives of some political parties on Monday in Luanda stated that the ongoing electoral campaign, for the September 05 elections, is taking place in a smooth way.


This was said during a meeting that the political parties officials held with the Home Affairs minister, Roberto Leal Monteiro " Ngongo".


The gathering, promoted by the referred government official, happened in the ambit of the permanent interchange and concert between the various state organs and the political parties.


The meeting was intended for the authorities to hear from the political organisations possible problems, complaints or other information relating during the electoral campaign.


At the end of the meeting, the inspector of the Police General Command, Salvador Rodrigues "Dod�", informed that so far no complaint has been received from any party.


The political parties officials were unanimous in saying that the campaign is going well, adding, however, that the police should take security measures to protect the action committees of all the parties, even without their request.


The politicians also appealed for non violence so that the citizens can vote consciously and freely.
