Re Coolum #1. See Beach and Entek are running a second DST over the Westbourne Formation. This is a secondary target in the well, the primary target being the Birkhead Fomation which should beintersected in a couple of days.
Westbourne Formation had oil in the Glenvale well some 850 metres away so hope yet there may be some at Coolum location as well. Guess we will know later in the day.
Really like the way Beach has reported on this well. Nothing to set up false hopes with things like "running a DST over Westbourne formation following elevated background gas readings and flourescence". Wish more companies would follow their example!
